Been working on making myself a maul today. It weighs in at just over 18 ounces. Should be right at 18 once I shape the stacked leather handle. PERFECT!

What did you end up using for the maul head? PE seems to be pretty popular these days!

Gotta sore knee today, sounds like a good enough reason to sit at the bench and practice.

I suppose there is a reason for it, but I really miss seeing how many times a picture has been downloaded.

BTW - Love the Hawk head on the pouch and the leaves on the side bags of the Hawk Themed Leather Motorcycle Accessories. Well Done.

If you have a picture you can post we might be a ble to help answer that question. You don't say what price they are asking. On stamps I usually figure uused are around three dollars if I can get them for less then that it's a good deal. handled tools like creasers, stitch groovers etc $5.00 - 10.00 however different brands anddiscontinued stamps may be woth a little more. Espescially if they have any collector value.

One thing you could do is go to http://brucejohnsonleather.com/content/ and look through what he has for sale... and check prices on the older tools that he may have that are similar to those in the sale you are considering.
