MountianWilliam Report post Posted November 2, 2011 Greetings ya'll This is my first post, Gettin right to the point, I remember when I was just a young'un. My Grand mother owned a shoe repair shop on Bellknap ave. in Haltom city Texas,I lived with her off and on for many years. Well a bit closer to the point Her son my Uncle Bill (who was Vice Pres of John Mans ville Ft. Worth) Had a mural in his living room that to this day is the best and most authentic (as far as a picture of the old west) There were old buildings cattle wagons old fences, ect. ect. This thing was 4 or 5 feet long and about 2 and a half feet wide, all of leather the frame was even leather about 1 and a half inches thick. My question is, something of that stature, workmanship. might anyone have an idea of who might have created that, or maybe some where that I might search for some kind of record of it having been made. I have no idea of what happened to it or where it may have ended up. I hope at some sort of leather museum. This is just a shot in the dark, but I loved that old work and would like to see it again.
