Had a lot of fun with this saddle. Starting to get the hang of it. 15.5 inch Lieuallen on a Timberline tree. Thanks everyone for your help in the forums.

Saddle came out looking good,Nice Clean work on a not to easy to cover tree. You might want to Stretch and twist your fenders some more to get a better look.Pulling them down will make everything lay better.Looks like your rope strap is a little high on the swell, might dally that off.Otherwise a great job.

I have to agree with the previous comment on the fenders but man the rest of it just looks great, plus that horn looks like it might be real nice to rope off of.

Thanks guys. I'll do that tonight. I also need to oil some spots that have lightened up.

I like the look of the saddle. Nice lines and clean work. Pretty good for only a 3rd saddle!

Here is a thread where D.A. Kabatoff gives a method for getting the back jockeys right down tight in post #4. Good info as far as I know: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4207

(Those who can, do. Those who can't, point to old threads where it is discussed!)
