  1. I bought out a business a few years ago and now that we have a growing family i am wanting to sell. I bought everything as a whole but now I have interest in my clicker and not sure how to price it its a FIPI F36/L hydraulic press and all the dies...here are some pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/108690358@N03/
  2. So I was lucky enough to meet Luke Bryan on sat night and had him sign my belt. He signed it with a silver sharpie and my belt had been made and sealed with satin sheen. Can I just use this to seal in the autograph? I just dont want it to fade or smear as I am pretty sure this was a once in a lifetime chance!
  3. Hi, I have been reading up lots on how to get proper egdes on the out side of my yokes but how do people finish the edges on something what you have cut out of? I am finding that I cant get a nice smooth edge before I glue it down. And what is the best tool for doing the cut outs?
  4. Thanks so much everyone! I took your advice and have seperated the clicker and the dyes and have had alot of interest!
  5. Okay thanks! May I ask why I should sell the dyes seperatly? Do you think I would get a better price?
  6. I have been a lurker for most of the time that I have been on the forum but wasnt too sure where to post this. I am looking for some help in pricing items I have never used. When I started leather work I bought out my father for all his equipment in a total lump sum. There are a few things that never get used and not sure how to price them to sell. I have looked online for other models that are similar but am having trouble. The main thing is a Fipi f36 clicker. Just wondering what people thought I should price something like this with 100 dyes for chap making? Sorry if I put this in the wrong spot.
  7. Thanks Elton! I am definatly going to give both a call and set up an account! And i am going to head over to Warkov-Safeer Leather Ltd. on the weekend and see what they have and will give ya a shout back!
  8. Hello! As I said I am from a verryy small town in Manitoba. I think our population has reached 225! I am a 23 year old farmgirl who was born and raised here. After high school I went our west to Calgary and trained and showed horses for Spruce Meadows in showjumping but I really missed the country and cowboy life style. After having a bad riding accident (breaking my leg in 8 places) I decided it was time to try something else and move back to help with the farm were I met my boyfriend(although we have known each other since we were 11) and we started a farm of our own, so far there is 100 cows, 22 horses (mostly heavy for farm chores and for a wagon outfitting business that his dad owns) pigs, chickens, dogs and a few cats. I have always loved sewing and got my first sewing machine at age 6 and decided that I would take over my father in laws business of making chaps and chinks. I am hoping to also get into horsemanship outfits and custom leather vests for showing. So these are a few of my first attempts at our basic chaps and chinks! Shannon The metallic is just a really light weight for mutton busting that Dustin does!
  9. I have just started making chaps/chinks and horsemanship outfits. I live in a very small town in Manitoba and have made several trips into the Winnipeg Tandy but they don't carry the colors I need for some of my chaps. I was wondering what other people from Canada do? Is there other suppliers I can look at buying from in Canada or am I going to have to buy from the states???? How easy is it to buy and bring across the boarder? Thanks Shannon
  10. welcome to the site
