  1. Welcome to the forum sodapop I could do with some training myself(wolf joke) so I have been told lol good luck with the K9 leathercraft there is a big demand for this type of thing in England as the folk are fed up with the rubbish being sold in the Petshops and I always get asked if I can make something cool for the doggy.. 6. Some help needed from the USA if anyone could help this guy out from a post on Standingbears forum:: Does anyone know where we can find a Leather working factory? We are looking for a very small domestic factory to produce small quantities of very high end leather goods ( Wallets, Bags, Belts, Cigar Cases,...). Person or company must have impeccable attention to detail and ability to make most any type of leather item from our drawings. If there is a list or other website we can visit please let me know http://standingbears.proboards102.com/inde...&thread=162 They are from Florida but open to anyone in the US http://standingbears.proboards102.com/index.cgi?board=questions&action=display&thread=162 Thanks for any help you could give them Dave

Hi Ian welcome along to the forum
  10. Cumbria is such a lovely part of the UK and well worth a visit..spend two weeks one at the school and enjoy the rest with outstanding views that are on offer around the area Hexham comes to mind an old Roman village crossing a river. I spent 6 months learning Celtic art there Hexham Abbey was once described as `the largest and best examples of Celtic art,
  11. The eBay thing I get angry about sellers putting more on the posting costs to lower there listing and selling fees that they have to pay eBay.. you will see at lot of this with listings from China and Hong kong but looks like eBay are about to be sorting this out at long last.. I also get narked when you pay £2.00 posting only to see when the item came though the post box 55p I know good wrapping costs time and cash but come on.. not that much It's no good trying to undercut the other eBay seller just to sell the item..You have to list you items at a price to cover your costs of the listing and eBay fees and if you are going to use PayPal when selling add this in as well offering discounts regarding what every banking method is used is also a good selling point on eBay also if your a seller Shipping your item as fast as you can is also a good winner and the more remakes in your feedback regarding fast shipping will win over the customer hands and feet over a seller who do's not care about giving any type of customer service.. 12. Could not agree more chap.. thats why I use a Mac for all my artwork and sometimes linux on my PC and put up with the Microsoft o/s when needed... As I said without getting into the Vesta vs Xp crap have a open mind and use what is needed to get the job done use and do.. but software and o/s are down to what you Like best and what is needed by the computer to get the best out of the hardware that is in there but anyway going right off topic regarding what the post was about...
  13. Without getting into the Vista vs Xp thing put both on the new new hard dive as newer computers are being built to run on Vista we are sorry to say and support of Xp will be fading away as this is the Microsoft way of making you conform with a singular goal of you parting with your cash and to quote Mr Bill gatesYou will be assimilated. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile up-grade now..
  14. I am using a iomega screenplay 500gb external drive it works very well and is used to back up my laptop via-Norton360 just in case the big computer grim reaper comes along then I use the rest of the space for movies and eBooks.. I also back up some very important documents via CD and send emails to myself using attachments and googlemail / gmail the only thing I would suggest on a 4 year old computer is if it has not usb2 on the mother board dont think about getting any external drives up-grading your motherboard and adding a larger hard drive would be the best way to go giving you a more up to date computer with a load more room and plenty of scope for adding more drives inside or other up-grades...
