Why Can't I Find These?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm new here my name is Samantha and I should have introduced myself before making a help thread but I need help rather quickly.

I have a blanket repair business here in GA and I am investing in a Techsew GA5-1R but I need a certain needle size that I have not been able to find, I need needle size #22 and metric size 140

I will be using thread size 92 which I am hoping is right but also wonder if I can use a 69 with a size 22 needle?

Anyways does anybody know where I can find this size needle for the Techsew?

Thank you so much!

Samantha

If it uses series 328 needles, Bob Kovar has them for sale. Contact Toledo Industrial Sewing Machines, at: 866-362-7397

He also has tons of thread, in all sizes.

I suggest if the people that make / sell the machine can't supply the needle you need don't buy the machine.

Hi, thank you for replying back so quickly, I'm not sure what type of needle system/series this machine has, I talked to a man at the manufactures but I I didn't quite word my question correctly to get my answer, I emailed them but have gotten no reply.

I was hoping to find someone else who uses this machine, I'm guessing since size 22 is the smallest needle this machine can handle makes it a bit hard to find perhaps.

If you want to sew with #69 thread, buy some #18 needles. #92 thread uses #20 needles and #138 thread uses #22 or 23 needles. All of those sizes are available from any well stocked dealer. That GA1 looks exactly like the Cowboy CB2500, which uses series 328 needles. Bob Kovar, whom I mentioned in my previous reply, sells Cowboy machines and has all types of industrial needle systems and sizes, including those you want.

Hi Samantha,

We stock needles and all parts & accessories for the Techsew GA5-1R, as we do for all of our machines. We have needle sizes #22 through #27 available. Recommended thread size for size 22 needles is either a 92 or 138.

Let me know if you have any other questions! We're open from 9am to 5pm EST.

Oh really?

Does he have a website or any photos/videos of the CB2500??

The smallest needle size the techsew will take is a 22 and a 2mm stitch length, I'm wondering if its the right machine for me after all.

I will be repairing horse blankets and do some leather repair, I will also be making custom leather halters as well.

Tomorrow is my deadline to order my machine so any details would be super appreciated.

Thanks,

Samantha

The website is still under construction and not online at this time. But, I got this flyer for that machine when I got interested in it. I guess they use a different needle system (214xTW?) than I mentioned earlier.

Ron,

thats great I will surly need those size 22 needles when I order, how do I get them? I cannot find them on your website, the only size 22 you offer is for walking foot?

Maybe I'll specify in checkout? or maybe I'll just call you, also since using a size 22 needle means I need to use a 92 or 138 thread how can I use a fine thread...like a 69?

If you cannot get back to me on her I will call you, I know...A lot of questions but I much prefer not making mistakes when making decisions.

Thank you,

Samantha
