Thank you guys, yes Bruce it is a Blevins Buckle that I was able to trace the patent number to a 1940's era but the saddle seems to be older, it also has the initials D.L.M carved into the skirt but that could just be a previous owner?

Hello again, could someone please help me out here? I have seen a lot of people have viewed this but no one has responded with any info, do I need more pics or is it just a hard one to figure out? Please help the anticipation is killing me. I am obsessed with this and I can't seem to find any info.
