austinb Report post Posted April 21, 2014 Hey all, Ive got a guy selling a Juki 5550 sewing machine with a new servo motor for $400. Thinking about buying. Wise decision or should I wait for something else? Let me know quick! He also has a Consew 225 machine for $500 with walking foot and servo motor. Thoughts? confusedleatherman Report post Posted April 22, 2014 I suggest you go with the machine that has a walking foot... I don't really know much about sewing machine for I am a begginner... Cobra Steve Report post Posted April 22, 2014 Totally agree. The Juki 5550 is a garment machine used in factories to make clothes. The walking foot machine is a much better machine for leather.
