shtoink Report post Posted December 30, 2013 My first guess would be a laser engraving. I do know that the focus and power output of the laser can both be adjusted to get slightly different effects. I am certain the a fair bit of testing was done on scraps before that piece was done. I could be wrong and it was done by some other method, but with the level of consistency of the pattern, it seems unlikely that it would be anything other than laser engraving.
