Thanks so much!!! I think that should be "Emdeko" with an "o". Google "Emdeko" for a bunch of returns. I've serviced one or two Emdeko domestic (household use) machines. I think they were imported by Brother. I've not ever heard of any Emdeko Industrial Machines. They seem to be as good as any of the other vintage Japanese machines, and should sew light garment leather as well as any of the vintage domestic machines.
