    Charlene, I had a problem with my 3200 catching the bobbin thread when I tried to sew on leather that was too thin. The bigger machines are apparently not designed to sew 1-2 oz leather. Once I sewed on thicker leather, I did not have any issues. Just a thought since everyone else has covered the other suggestions.
