  1. thank you. I actualy ordered from them. Zack white had a minimum order and also wanted way way to much to ship that silly clip.
  2. Found them on Zack White leather. Of course I search for an hour and find it right after I make this post. Thanks any way
  3. Does any one know where i can find the spring clip that goes on the inside of a wallet. The only thing i have found it to buy the kit from tandy that has it, but they do not seem to sell just the clip
  4. When I compare anything of mine to bob park its like comparing finger painting to the Mona Lisa. But If i can get half way there i would be happy. Thanks for the advice I am going to try it with the belt im starting tommorow as well as some thing i have read off of the tutorials I just read threw. thanks for the help I think it will help alot. also when you dye the background are u using a small paint brush or something else
  5. Hello, I am having trouble with my floral carving and was looking for some help. I am currently working something and I will post it after my girlfriends birthday (dont want to spoil the suprize). But I wanted to know if those of you that are very good at it have any general pointers in what takes basic or avarage floral carving and makes it great or is it simply practice and doing it over and over. I have seen some really amazing works of art on here and I can't seem to take my work to the next level. I feel its ok and still looks nice but the things i make never seem to have that "perfect" look like many of some of the members on here do. Thanks for any advice i can get.
  6. I am going to be starting a floral belt soon, I love yours and i was wondeing if you can post more close up pictures of the tooling. Great work and thanks,
  7. i really like the stamping. it took me a while to figure out what all was done but after the stain it really complements the knife very well. i like the sheaths that go on sideways instead of up and down cuz you can wear them in front instead of on the side. easy to get to in my opinion.
  8. thanks every one for all the help. the pictures are very helpfull. ill let you all know what i come up with.
  9. Im going to make a cross draw holster for a friend but im not sure how to attach the belt loops without makeing the gun sit horizontal when hes wearing it. do any of you have pictures of a semi auto pistol cross draw holster that i can see how you have done this. any help is greatly appreciated.
  10. i like the idea for someone like me who makes very few holsters. i think if you target people like me you might do well but you would need to raise your rental price. i would be willing to pay upto about a third of the cost of the blue gun i need. because i most likely will never need it again so even if i pay 15 dollars to rent it. its better then paying 45 to buy something im not going to use twice. just my input hope that helps
  11. we talked about that but as he gets bigger a belt that doesnt let the holsters move would put them on the back side of his leg. he is not done growing yet.
  12. i made this for my friend. he is getting into SASS shooting. for those of you who (like me) had never herd of this it is cowboy action shooting. he picked the design and i have know idea what it is but i think its neat. tell me what you think.
  13. Thanks to all but none so far are what I am looking for so keep posting
  14. Thanks but those are light pink so keep posting
  15. Hi I have been sewing hair on cowhide for about 1 yr and I haven't found anything that works much better than the needle used to pull the hair out from under the stitches but I also had a question for you if you dont mind. Tandy just changed everything up on me and I can't figure out what size thread ive been using on my cowhide, I ordered two different sizes they offered and both were wrong, one was even so "waxy" it left a very large wax build up on the cowhide. Thanx very much
