  1. Ok, I'm 100% new to leather working. I only recently got interested... I'll obviously be learning while making my first wallet as well... So, basically I want to make a wallet that has a "Mockingjay pin" on the exterior but set into or somewhat flush with the leather surface... See my attached picture for what I don't want... The pin here is simply poked through the leather and clipped. The pin rotates freely and occasionally falls off if I'm not careful enough... I have had a few thoughts on what I could do to make the pin stay put, but not to stop the rotation... Like welding a piece of metal to the pin inside the wallet... But I'd rather get some opinions first... So, any takers? And yes... I am that big of a Hunger Games fan...
