mix up bobbins of the same colored thread?

Do any of you ever mix up bobbins of the same colored thread but different sizes and have difficulty telling the difference between the sizes? Sometimes I think I've grabbed what appears to be 277 or 207 only to have them mixed up. Is there, by chance, some method other than sight or touch to tell the sizes apart?
