  1. Hi Leatherfolks, my last post, almost 10 years ago...so hello again! Recently, an old Fortuna Skiver found its way to me. Beautyfull machine on a nice cast iron pillar. Fully working and with (!) original manual and parts list. Acording to the manual, its of the type "LK X" or "LM X". Already scanned it, if it's of interrest for someone ... german though ... and to big for uploade here, so contact me, we`ll find a way. I could'nt find out anything else about this machine on the webzz, so any hint, regarding year of construction or type etc. would be greatly appreciated! Debating with myself...full restauration...or just a clean up...or "never touch a running system"...any thoughts? I couldn't help myself and allready repaired and reinstalled the old "AEG"-switch and build a new drawer for the base of the skiver. I'm pretty shure there once was a "upper transport" on this machine. Some parts still there some missing. Would love to find the missing parts...again, any help would be great! So far for now... Greetings from Germany Adrian
  2. @trox got your service-manual, worked it out and solved the problem. sorry for the late answer, but my machine was runnig again so i was busy (-: thank you for your help. was exactly what i was looking for. I`m very sure about the serial number...its written on it....(-: but anyway, its working again. again...thanks for all. Adi
  3. Ok, got it. There must be some out there! I hope somehow one (......only one....) finds the way to me. -clownzwear
  4. Hey Trox, did you found out more about the pfaff 345? I have the same machine and i`m desperatly searching for some information and a service manual. You got one? I opened a new topic about it: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=47040 clownzwear
  5. @needles: I bet there was, but I got the machine used maybe one year ago. Without manual..... clownzwear
  6. @50 years leather: This is the only manual that apears on web, the same needles came up with. anyway thanks! Hope there is a different manual out there.....maybe hidden in a drawer somewhere!? clownzwear
  7. @needles: I already found this manual, too. Usefull (in general), but what I´m looking for is more something like a service manual, with descriptions how to do adjustments and stuff. But anyway....thanks for replying!!! clownzwear
  8. Hello all you leatherworkers! I own a Pfaff 345 and have a few questions about it. Im from Germany, but here nobody seems to know this machine. Even google doesn`t know much about it. But google knows, that a few of you folks know about this machine. So I hope I can find some information here. My most urgent question is: Does anybody know, how to adjust the hook-saddle? My machine is leaving out every 3. or 4. stitch. The problem is, that the hook is to far away from the needle. I already found out, that the Pfaff 345 is similar to the Singer 153 and I already found the manual for the singer. The two machines are allmost structurally identical, except of the one thing I need to know: How to adjust the hook saddle. My scond question is, does anybody have a service manual for the Pfaff 345? I couldn`t find one at the internet. The last thing I would like to have, is more information about this machine in general. The full type-number is: 345-145/1C H3SN I hope somebody can help me out. Thank you Greetings from Germany clownzwear
