Leather Producers Around The World

Hi

i'll start with the fact i am not from the industry and will probably ask a stupid question. Leather is produced all over the world but probably with different quality. As i am looking for factories to produce a motorcycle jacket for me i am lost as to how to chose ones. China, Pakistan, Brasil, USA, Europe - too many options. i tried to google but was not able to find a good discussion on that.

so i am trying to understand is there much difference in raw leather produced, say in Pakistan vs Brasil or Europe or US or any other country?

and what about manufacturing experience and quality across the globe?

i appreciate if you can find time to explain these basic things
