I started working with leather about 3 months ago a little with some scrap off of ebay making sheaths for some of my knives, now I am addicted and have about 13+ sq ft of 8/9oz leather ready to be used, this is an IWB mahogany dyed (a little dark for me) and holds at about a full FBI cant. I contoured the holster so that it would fit snug around my hip, it worked. My next one will start tonight and Imma make a 3 slot Pancake for this pistol for the winter and alternated concealed carrying option. Any recommendations, bring em on.

EDIT: O yeah and a lot of people miss this, BUT the magazine release is readily accessible, Very important IMO.

It looks like you're off to a decent start. Good job on the mag release button clearance. That gets overlooked by too many people IMO. You might consider shifting the sweat shield forward so it covers the sights and doesn't obstruct your grip any when you grab the pistol. Too much excess leather can actually jab the web of your hand or the inside of your thumb and foul your draw.

Looks Good!!!!!! It's easy to become an addict. It's a great addiction though. Looks like you're well on your way.
