I would like to make leather straps without padding in between. Thickness between 3.5mm to 5 mm. Preferably sewn with stiches on the edge. i got many questions like do i use a single piece of leather, or stick 2 pieces together, how do i make the side (with spring bar) that is attached to the watch lug .. so on. Any advice is much appreciated. Thankyou.

Hi, i am new to this. I sort of like to try making my own leather watch strap, but not sure how to go about it & what tools to use (for cutting, for sewing ..etc) Not sure if anyone here can advise ? Any books or resources that i can reference ? cheers
