I have a 1942 White Rotary Imperial in mint condition. It uses up to #69 bonded nylon thread and has double-size bobbins. The needles are typical home machine needles, threaded front to back, and the motor drives the machine via a rubber pulley on the motor shaft, riding against the handwheel, turning it clockwise.

Thanks Wiz because I've wanted one for quite a while but know nothing about them except they were Singer's biggest competitor. Cheryl

White Rotary bobbins are available - I think the part number is 744.

I decided against it, because the guy was thrown off eBay. Not a good sign although i really wanted the machine. Said his sister used his account and ran up a bif bill, and probably is true but I decided not to take the chance.

Really wanted it too couldn't wait to tear into it. But another time. Cheryl
