Learning To Use The Gas (Co2) To Get The Sewing Done.

Putting together my CO2 system to power my Aerostitch and don't see too much posted knowledge on the subject. I've found the correct regulator, now I'm looking for hints and suggestions. One question is: How much sewing can be done on a 20# bottle of CO2? Another question: is it easy to switch between compressed air (shop compressor) and CO2? Any additional information is appreciated.

I can not directly answer to the running on CO2, but in general the only reason I know of to run on CO2 is because there is no compressed air available. If you have air available and get tired of paying the huge differance, just hook up your air to the regulator. I think the only differance you will find is that your pockets will be full of money.

How much CO2 will you be putting into the air you breathe when stitching? That'd be my concern.

You really don’t want to be using CO2 indoors it very dangerous it’s heavier than air so it sits in your lungs and you’ll suffocate, you can get compressed air tanks which is cheaper I think but still cost you more than a compressor.

I think it would make your stitching crooked.
