Scrap Pieces And Old Practice Pieces

So I just started playing with leather about 5 months ago and have been working on understanding my swivel knife and tools. As I sat in my office this morning I turned and looked at my pile and thought, "What am I going to do with this stuff?" So what is a person to do with their practice pieces?
