bdpotter Report post Posted February 25, 2009 Hello everyone. I have a Pfaff 545, I was using it the other day, it got jammed and one of the teeth on the gears under the machine broke. I have tried looking for this part online but haven't had any luck. I've also contacted a pfaff dealer in my area and was told that the part is pretty much obsolete and that he does not work on industrial type machines. The dealer also said that this is not something I can fix on my own because it needs to be timed? Any recomendations? I live in near Olympia, WA - do you know anyone in my area that knows how to work on this type of machine? Does anyone have a Pfaff 545 that they are parting out that would sell me the gears?
