Need 'stainless Steel Buckles' For English Leathers

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone.

I'm looking for stainless steel buckles to use on leather stirrup straps for English style saddles.

I got the good ol' English made leather. But I can't find buckles.

Anyone got a source they want to share?

Thanks

Joel

They look like this. I could get them if I was in Europe, but I'm in SOCAL USA.

They are an Amish company, hence no computers. So you have to call them and place your orders. If you know exactly what you want they will help you. Otherwise, ask for a catalog and they'll gladly mail it out to you.

I don't benefit, in any way, from this endorsement. I've been doing business with them for 2-3 years now and I've not had one problem with their product or service.

The buckle you are looking for is on page 33 item 2418 English Stirrup Buckle from 3/4" to 1 1/4". They are either stamped or casted stainless steel. The price for one piece or 99 pieces of 3/4" is 0.93 cents. If you get 100 pieces or more they drop to 0.84 cents each. I have used these folks for 7 or 8 years with no problems. Just like the man from Texas said.

Geneva Thanks for the catalogue page number and info. Thanks for the tips ASMA, Spence, and Geneva.

I got the Beiler's catalog in the mail today. Yureeka! I hit the mother load. :)

Resource catalogs are as valuable as physical tools are to me.

Thanks again.

Joel

Had a feeling you'd like that catalogue. They're very easy to work with on the phone. I've found that if it's a small order, they'll send it USPS Priority for me. If I remember right, I had to ask in the beginning. Have fun!
