  1. Here is a link to worksheets that can be used to help counselors keep track of everyone progress while completing the leatherwork Merit Badge. http://meritbadge.org/wiki/images/0/04/Leatherwork.pdf
  2. I have darken some with a super strong brew of coffee. Brew it super strong then simmer on the stove to reduce it and make it even stronger. I have also heard of using walnut hulls to darken leather. I haven't tried it yet though. Supposed you take green walnut hulls and boil them to get the pigment out. Then apply the pigmented water to the leather.

    C-Clip

I would like the c-clip because to me it seems more concealable than a standard clip and yet more stable than a j-clip.

    C-Clip

I am looking for a supplier of C-clips for holsters. I am new to leatherworking and have not been able to find these type of clips available. I can find the standard metal clips and j-clips, but not the C-clips. If you don't know what I mean by a C-clip it is a clip for an IWB holster that goes behind the belt and has a little hook that goes under the bottom of the belt and another hook that hooks over the top of the belt to form a c shape. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Has anyone ever heard of Estone brand tools. I would like to get started in leatherworking and do not have much money to spend on it at all. There are some Estone tools on Amazon that are very reasonably priced. I'm sure some would say that they are priced so low that they could be considered disposable tools. I'm wondering if any here has used them or even heard of them. The tools that I'm looking at on amazon either don't have any reviews of them or they only have one review. I have not been able to find anything on here about them. Are they a hidden jewel or just trash? I don't want to waste the little money that I have for tools on some that will not last more than a few projects.
