My name is Wolfgang and I come from Germany. In my childhood, my father started working with leather and I started this work after i stopped smoking last time. So i had a lot of time for this hobby :)

Very good looking cases!!!

I like the trick with the feathers extending from the cap down onto the case, very slick.

Welcome to the board, nice introduction!!

Nice looking work Wolle.

Glad you found my idea with the custom ring holders on the handle and straps worthwhile. It took me about two days and many revisions to get them all worked out where the lacing fit just right and the part laid down on the curve jsut how I wanted. I think that this is a nice touch on the type of cue case that is laced up the side like this. This is the original one we did for the Doc case - www.jbcases.com/doc.html

The only thing I would caution you on when doing your version like you did is that the strap is going to be stressing out the lacing and over time I'd bet that this fails at this point from what I can see in the picture. Of course if you have added some other reinforcement that I can't see then disregard that warning.

Welcome to the cue case making club. I like your style and will probably borrow some of your elements as well. Very creative.

Hi John,

I´m glad to hear such words from a master of case building thumbup.gif and surely I am inspired of your wonderful work

Nice idea that the handle and the strap holder is incorporated into the seams. I like it, and sewing on the site also. The handle is with a thin leather reinforced at the seams and rivet, so i think it was hard enough

I am delighted to be here and will you show all my currently and next work here

greetings from Germany

Wolfgang
