  1. Thank you for the positive comments. The thumb break is something I wanted to try just for an added measure of security. Not sure how many have ever used a public men's room. You go to have a seat and your expensive fire arm slips the holster and clatters across the floor. This happened on a few occasions with an expensive milt sparks holster. Going to wear it and see how she rides. I am going to do some draw drills this weekend. I need to work on my edges more. And the edge Kote I used peeled the first time. I read some will dye the edges and then re-burnish with bees wax. Also lots of tool marks. Maybe practice will make the next one cleaner.
  2. Well my first holster. Used the JLS pattern and modified it for my colt compact 1911. Critics welcome.
  3. Those are very nice and exactly what I am looking for. I have a colt compat which is my everyday carry. Would you be willing to share your pattern for the thumb break version ? Sorry I am just starting holster making and am still working on my pattern making skills.
