How Do I Create This Effect?

Hi all,

I would like to create a journal cover using the design from this stained glass window. I would like the piece to have the same swirling colors, but have no idea how to do that.

Any ideas?

You might try something like this product: Leather Craft Decorative Marble Streak Lacquer Powder. I have never used it, but perhaps it will give something close to the effect you're seeking. . .? It might be possible to find another source for the sodium alginate powder. . .
