FS: Everything you need for a holster business

Recommended Posts

I have been making and selling holsters for about a year and a half on a gun website and have decided to sell everything and move on to another hobby. Everything I have will be a turn key operation for someone that wants to start making holsters but doesn't want to spend the next year in the learning curve. Below is a list of the major items I have but the sale will also include selanants, glue, edge coats, and quite a bit of extra leather in different colors. I only want to sell this locally because it would be too much to try and pack everything up to ship. If you have any questions or are interested in the equipment please email me at 281-914-9158. The price for everything is $4000 and I'm pretty firm.

1) Toro 3000 sewing machine with 207/277 thread and 1 full spool of weaver 346

2) 20 ton press for wet molding the holsters, also includes 4 gum rubber pads

3) Craftsman drill press for burnishing the edges

4) Ryobi belt sander for edge work

5) Fantastic edge burnisher (only used 4-5 times)

6) Leather skiver and strap cutter (bought on Ebay and only used them 2-3 times, these are both table top mount)

7) Cutting boards for clicker dies (one board is new the other is used, they cost almost $100 for the boards)

8) Clicker dies for the following guns, you can also use the patterns for other guns but this is all I worked on. The dies I have are cut for 10 different patterns.

A) Springfield XD9

B) Springfield SubCompact

C) Glock 19/23

D) Glock 26/27

E) Glock 30

F) Glock 36

G) 1911 full size

H) 1911 commander size

I) 1911 3-3 1/2"

J) 1911 full size with rail

9) Blue guns for everything shown above

10) Dies to cut the straps for the two different style holsters

11) Head Knife, 3 punches, leather shears, mallet, and snap setter

12) 1 Single bend drum dyed black from Herman Oak 7/8 (paid $125)

13) Approx 3 square feet of black shark

14) Approx 2.5 square feet of black elephant

15) Enough pull the dot snaps for about 100 holsters, all finished in black

16) All of my sealants and edge coats are from Angelus and I have about 1/2 gallon of high gloss and 2/3rds of a gallon of satin for sealants and approx a quart each of black and brown edge coats.

17) 6" bench grinder with a weaver knife sharpener installed

18) 2 Weaver edgers

19) Weaver edger sharpener

20) 1 gallon of weaver gum tragacanth

Here are a couple of threads and pictures of the holsters.

Nice holsters and nice work. It looks like you had a good following (customers).
