Recommended Posts

Well, Here it is, the final seat for this bike.

This will surely look better than that black sheridan seat

Thanks for looking

Thanks for checking it out guys, The next post I make on this thread should be of the bike with the new seat and a 20" front tire in place of the 17" wide one.

Here is the final form of the Speed King Racing bike, you will note the wide 17" front tire has been replaced with a 20" wheel and tire. The final seat has been added also

Wow thats nice, much better with the new seat really sets it off. I would love to see these types of bikes where I live but unfortunately all the bikers here are only into the stock standard boring black Harleys.

Outstanding work as always, Dave! I would agree: it's much better than the black.

Where do you get those eyelets (or are they grommets), and what size are they?

Thanks very much.

I thought Jeff called it a 20; but it certainly could be a 21. I am just not sure.

The eyelets are from Tandy. and come in three colors, chrome, brass and an antique brass.

Thanks for checking out the seat and bike

David,

That's a sweet looking job, and you're right - much better than the black. Did you make the custom saddle bag(s) too?

Hey Mike,

The saddle bag is indeed a veggie tanned bag, but it is a mass produced bag. That is going to be a project very soon, I want to create a line of bags to go with the seats.

Thanks for checking it out.
