Hi, I'm new to the forum and this is a little bit of an unusual request. I am looking to work with an experienced leather craftsmen to help me learn more and teach me the basics from where to buy leather, which tools to use for what, etc. I did buy a simple kit from tandy leather (which I assume is more expensive than buying outside a kit). I've done this for other things over skype and it works okay... or in person it works even better. It all depends on your schedule and how much time you can dedicate a week. If you know someone that might be interested please pm me or email me at gmail .com (same username as here). I have a dog so making things for her would be amazing (she is medium size, not tiny). Thanks! BONUS: EVEN BETTER: If there is any way I can work on shoes somehow..... I know its a long shot since it requires a lot of machinery.. but I am so ignorant that the idea crossed my mind that I could do some of the work and I could ship you and PAY you for doing part of the work I can't do without the heavy artillery =-) THANKS!
