  1. Bucking rolls are two padded pouches that are secured to the saddle to supplement the swells and help the rider say in the saddle. They are typically found on slick fork saddles, like the saddle in the picture, that have very little width to there swells.

  4. Hello everyone this is my first post on here. These are the second pair of bucking rolls that I have made from the Tandy leather factory tack pattern pack. These are beaver hair on hide with basket weave stamping on the frames, Sheep wool stuffed, hand stitched. The Dees are metal with a rawhide edge braid around them that I braided myself. All critiques and tips are welcome.
  5. Wow, For your first set od hobbles they look great, especially the tooling. Is that hand stitched? And if you don't mind me asking were did you get the pattern for those?
