  1. That's a cool piece. Is where the 'holster'wraps around the trigger guard what retains the shotgun?
  2. Hi all, hoping someone can advise me on shoulder harness material. I've never worked with suede personally, but what I want to build a novelty short barrel shotgun harness similar to the firepower rig found at Andrews custom leather. This would obviously be just a "for fun" item at my range and not to be used for any type of public carry being it is an NFA item. I've seen a few folks using suede and I like the idea of suede vs veg tan leather due to its softness and ability to form and drape easily over the shoulders and back without printing too badly. My two concerns are color transfer and strength. Will 3-4oz suede hold up? Can I find undyed suede somewhere? I've searched online but come up shorthanded. This build will also double as practice as I would like to steer (see what I did there?) into building shoulder rigs. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Thanks for sharing that info. I've switched from the knife kits clip to the Tandy ones for a bit now and am happy with them.they are high priced, just got to catch them on sale. Which I hope is soon cause I'm low. They are VERY strong and great uniformity. Great finish, but they squeak like no other. I have a lot of velcro laying around so I use the soft loop portion and a stick a small strip to the back and it knocks out the noise.
