Wanderinstar Report post Posted April 18, 2013 Hi all, My son has bought a digi c amera and has set me a challenge to make him a case for said camera. A few questions for you knowledgable people. What thickness of leather to use . If I use 2-3mm ,to give protection to camera, I would not be able to sew it inside out and then turn it out the other way. Mind, I could probably skive off the adages and then do a saddles stitch up the seam. Second option is to make it out of thinner leather and then bot in plenty of soft lining in to give protection.
