  2. Hello Everyone!!! Many people asks about the tidiness of my friend´s father leather goods articles. How does he makes all his articles so tidy? He told me: 1. He designs the model and creates the pattern. 2. He plans and take notes of what is the amount of leather, color, etc. and the other necessary articles (zippers, clasps, etc.) 3. He goes personally selects and buy all these stuff around the Capital Federal and other Neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 4. He starts cutting the leather manually with a cutter following the pattern. 5. He cuts the material he needs. 6. He reduces the rims with different thickness depending on where you need to. 7. He glues and folds the leather and await till it get dry. 8. He sews with a sew machine, he puts the clasps, he finishes the work. 9. He cleans up the articles and rubs them with shoe polish. 10. He packs the articles and done.

  5. You see??? The thing is that he´s an old expert man and he´ve been creating leather articles, a little obsessed with the neatness, the comfyness and the usefullness of what he designs and creates. He works meticulously on every step, so he is always improving himself in these aspects. Thanks
  6. Hi Davy, well, he told me he folds neat and then he sew. He never uses excess material, he rather make every step neat.Hope this answer your question! Thanks Tom, you are always so kind...

  10. Hi, these are the pictures of the articles that a leather artisan from Buenos Aires, Argentina, makes. He's the father of a very good friend of mine and I thought you'd like to see his work. He started designing and creating things with leather since 1950. He is now 75 years old and, with his wife, he is still making leather handcrafts with the same old tools, but improving his technique, style and tidiness.
