Knut, words cannot express how peaceful and serene that setting looks. Bet there is a warm and inviting fire going inside too.

Merry Christmas to you also.

It sure is, but it could be even better .

We had a suicide bomber - the first one in Sweden - in Stockholm City yesterday. Quite a shocking experience in our daily life.

Fortunately, my old log cabin shop is a peaceful place - that is , those days when I remember the saying "measure twice, cut once"

Knut,

What a fantastic Christmas card that would make! Just beautiful.

As for your suicide bomber, I think for all of us it's not a matter of "if" but "when" it will happen on our home soil. Let's just hope they keep recruiting from the shallow end of the gene pool and all of them suffer "premature detonation" the way that guy did, before they can hurt anyone else.

To all those who wish us well, Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, and a safe and healthy New Year!

Mike

Awesome photos - I've always wanted to move to the mountains, and these photos sure aren't helping me pay my mortgage every month!! :)

Neat little rustic cabin. It certainly looks inviting. Mine is just a big modern Atco trailer - well insulated but doesn't have that "come on in" feeling..

:jawdropper: Whow nice pic's of your home away from home. My workshop is my dinning room table with a cat that likes to grab my strings as I try and braid, and 3 dogs that all want attention so put their paws up onto my lap or push my arm while I'm trying to cut and bevel. But like you I wouldn't give what I have up for anything. That first pic diffently would make a hallmark card.
