  2. What is the best glue out there? Im wanting something that is really secure, permanent, and that will last forever. Any suggestions?
  3. @CowboyBob Awesome! I can always count on you. This is just what I need! Thanks for the help.
  4. Ya, you might be right. Thought that maybe changing the title would improve SEO and generate interest among those who know about Mitsubishi machines.
  5. I purchased a sewing machine for a price I couldn't pass up. However, I know nothing about this machine. Any identification related to manufacturer and model have been removed. Here is what I know.... Its a walking foot machine It has the same body/head design as a mitsubishi yu-360/330 and dy models (assessment of online images) It has a gigantic wheel. It was manufactured until the late 1980s Its serial number is 988038 I can't find much info online. Does anyone know what model this machine is? Or know who makes a similar clone? It sews fine now, but Id like to keep the info in my pocket incase it ever needs parts. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a manual?' You guys are awesome! Thanks
  6. Im wondering if its even a Ferdco at this point. I found pics online of the mitsubishi YU line. Can find much info, but it looks like the same body. What do you guys think? Could it be a clone of the Mitsubishi an actual Mitsubishi?
  7. I finally got the sewing machine. I am told it's a Ferdco, but there isn't actually and identification on it. What do you guys think? Happy to take additional pictures if that would help identify what kind of a clone it is.
  8. @shoepatcher Thank man! Im going to pick it up next weekend. Ill let you know how it does. Thanks for the help and encouragement.
  9. @nylonRigging Ya, I think I am going to pick it up. Thanks for confirming that its a good deal. Ill be sure to look for the hinges. Im hoping that it will fit on my current table. But if not, Im open to getting a new one. Thanks for the info! Super helpful. Cant wait to try it out. @Wizcrafts Thanks for the info. Im going to give the Hoffman Brothers a call tomorrow. Im assuming that you've been in the industry for awhile?
  10. @nylonRigging My worry is that I won't be able to buy parts in the future. However, it does seem like a good deal. Would you say it has reverse? The buyer didn't know and Im not sure what to look for on the photos. Thanks for your opinion. Its really value to me.
  11. I am thinking about buying this old Ferdinand (serial# 988038 ). The seller can't seem to find the model number on the machine. I am told it is a clone of a Consew model, Im just not sure which one. Can anyone help me out? Does $150 Sound like a good price? Thanks for your help. Ive never owned a walking foot sewing machine and Im looking forward to finding one.
  12. I recently got a Singer 45k25 machine up and running. Ive got a standard presser foot on it now. Works great. However, Id like to try out a roller foot. Unfortunately, I can't find one anywhere. Does anyone have any leads on where to find one? Could I fit one that is meant to go on another sewing machine? Anyone selling?
  13. Jimi, The image that you just sent is the kind of binder I have. Looks like I will just need to get a new foot and cut it off to make it fit. Thanks for the photo I wasn't sure how to even attach it. Thanks for all the help! I need all I can I get.
  14. I just got one of these machines too. Was trying to figure out what kind of linen thread to use. I was planning on a 4 cord but now sure if I should be buying Left or Right twist. What do you guys think?
