New Sheaths And Their Knives Enjoy!

Recommended Posts

Two new knives and their sheaths. Both sheaths are 7/8 oz double shoulder and hand stitched. The knives are a staghandled droppoint in D-2 and the other is a semi-skinner with premium ironwood handles in CPM 154 steel. Enjoy, Brad Johnson

youre welcome brad one thing i do notice is at the point end of the sheath it looks kinda like the layers of leather on the top and on the welt arent meeting up just flush together on the edges. is that just the angle of the pic?

Brad,

I am not a knife maker or sheath maker. But I sure like the looks of these. Great job.

RWP,

I round and burnish the edges of my knives so it may appear that they are not together.

Knives, Forged, or stock removal? What Rockwell? Nice job. Member of IFI ?

Sheath, Belt loop, or clip?

In comparison to the quality of the knife the sheath looks a little plain. Could be it is just the basketweave makes it look a little .........................what is the term? Dated, maybe commercial?

Is the blank section for the owner's initials?

It may be the angle that it is shot, but the sheath looks bulky/thick for the size of the knife. Do you have one with the knife in it, or from a different angle?

How much of the handle is exposed when it is sheathed?

Of course, a knife is one of those items that is best evaluated when holding it.
