what is the going price for double loop stich?

A QUESTION FOR THE FOURM.

SOME ONE WANTS A VERY LARGE ITEM

LACED. with a double loop stich.

what is the going price?

this item will be 8' 10'' of lacing.

i would think it would vary from person to person depending on speed.

i would figure out how long it takes to do inches or a foot and charge by the hour

Luke, as Beeza has stated, it all depends on how fast you can punch the holes and then lace. You also have to remember that for about 9 feet of lacing, you are going to need about 75 feet of lace.

I have worked out how long it takes me to lace one foot of all the different laces I do, and I charge an hourly rate based on that. Sometimes people think it's too much, but most times it works out, and they agree to go ahead.

Wow, Luke! That's quite a belt! The one I made like that didn't have to be laced. I guess I lucked out. What leather weight did you use? I had two layers of 12 ounce. My Tippman Boss came in real handy for that one!

Nice job on that lacing. Charge them a lot!

Time to lace was less than 7hrs.

you caint see it in the photo, but the belt is a copy of the belt that Hulk Hogan

won. I have been doing the lacing on Official Reproduction Championship

wrestling belts.

Thats a great lookin belt. Can we see some better photos. I like how the coffee cup made a cameo in the photo. I laced a shark skin belt not too long ago double loop style and it took me about seven or more hours. A lot of work but it looked great. I'll post it in the show off section.
