HI ALL : Has any one purchased the SMITH TRI HONE and if so is it good for sharpening swivel knives and small leather tools ?? also need recommendations on honing oil, which is best ?? I saw a post on here some where some recommending a black rouge called 555 ?? Is this better than the green ??? I am learning so al comments and info appreciated !! Thanks.

Evening all :: Has any one tried an old used fire hose as a stropping belt?? I saw a post guy using an old elevator belt, what they use to use in grain elevators ad cotton gin fire hose is same material. was just curious !!!

Hi ELECTRATHON: Do you not like it ?? I saw the videos and thought this might be "the one " can you tell me is it all its cracked up to be ?? or did the guy just hype it ? I have been using 2 very cheap tandy knives and they leave a lot to be desired ya know. .
