attila Report post Posted October 17, 2008 I'm a newbie at sewing leather but I have the opportunity to purchase a Consew model 300, but I cannot seem to find any reviews on this beast. I am looking to redo the interior of my car and I believe that as an Industrial type sewing machine that it is competent to do the job. It is in "working order" and I will see if it sews an even stitch, but apart from checking the basic mechanics of the machine I cannot find a manual, or schematic. Can anyone give me any tips that I can check on this or similar machines. Would anyone know if this machine can only do single stitch or double stitch? Yes, I will be sewing plenty of test runs on cheaper material. In my mind, this job needs to appear anywhere from close to perfect, to perfect.
