WolfFlower Report post Posted April 23, 2015 Hi, so i've been mucking around with leather for just a short while. I decided i wanted to make a prototype collar that could be worn/tested and the the next model would be far superior in comfort, stitching and design. This is after 100+ hours of wear: Please don't slaughter me for any mistakes, as i said this is a protoype, so I used scrap leather for some parts and some of the stitching waves are a little liney (did i say that right:). Apart from that any constructive critism is welcomed. Things I already know: Stitching lines need to be less wavey Edge or entirety of snakeskin needs to be inset to prevent fraying/lifting Strap guide needs to not be secured with thread Need to not use crappy bit of stingray scrap + cut symmetrically and maybe needs a rolled edge or something but it is pretty comfortable at the moment
