Speed Loader For Revolver .... Case Help Needed!

I'm making a Speed Loader case for my belt, and was wanting to know if any of you have done this before. I'm wanting a simple, easy pattern to hold a speed loader for my S&W 629 / 44 Magnum.

I suspect that you will have to wet mold the front piece. The ones my dad had on his duty belt had like a piece of PVC on the inside just bigger then the shells.

I've never seen them made with PVC. My Grandfather had one that was issued by the Kentucky State Police, and it was made from 9 oz. leather, wet molded, and then sealed with an acrylic finisher.

Do you want it to open at the top or the bottom?

Mike, . . . I don't have a "pattern" but the ones I used to have were shaped like the enclosed.

Love that pattern Dwight. You could possibly make it even easier by extending the T on the front piece. Rivet it like normal but wrap it all the way to the top and snap it as normal. Kind of like the 2x2x2 belt pouches where the cover and belt loop are the same piece. No stitching at all, just rivets and snaps. Or even make the front one piece and the loop/snap cover another piece and rivet it all down in the same spot. Might be worth a try. Easy on.off would be a plus.
