DTrap Report post Posted March 24, 2014 Had a little more free time and my friends puppy needed a new collar and leash so I decided to see what I could work up. He said he wanted something that looked kind of aggressive and heavy duty. I had a nice piece of sea snake that I had been wanting to use on something and thought it would look nice with the dogs brindle coat so wrapped it around a 1.5" piece 8oz veg tanned and put some regular spikes as well as some bigger skull spikes also. Went with a double buckle setup for a more heavy duty look and feel. Lined it with a 2" piece of 8oz black latigo. For the leash I braided some 8oz latigo and used some white powder coated chain for the bottom half. I doubled the chain over so it coud be used as a handle if he wants to choke up on the leash. It is defiantly heavy duty to say the least but I like the way it all came out and I think it looked pretty nice on the pup. Let me know what you think.
