I'm looking for a machine to sew 10oz waxed canvas and various sizes of new and recycled leather. Bags, rucksacks, wallets, etc. doubtful no more than a 1/4 inch total of leather will be sewed.
I was told to look for the Consew 226R and have been for about 6 months. I can't seem to find one in my area though.
What are some equivalents of this machine by other makers, and are there other models I should consider that will do the same thing?
would you say the 206rb-1 is a better machine that can do all the same things?
I'm in south Georgia, so if anyone knows of a repair/reseller i should contact in the area please let me know.
