Another Eco Flow Question

I want to dye some leather, paint certain spots, and antique it after. My thought is since I have an airbrush I should use that for most of it. The antique will pull color up and smear it, since I can't spray that. So is layering the answer? Perhaps dye the leather, then spray a thin coat

of satin shene, then spray cova color, now a second coat of satin shene, rub antique gel, last coat of satin shene, and finally an atom wax or tan kote. Any insight from you guys I am sure would help a lot!

Sounds like you've got a good plan. Make sure you try it on some scrap leather first before you try it on a finished project. There are lots of variables with different dyes, paints and finishes and lots of them act differently when applied over others. I think a couple coats of satin sheen or other sealer before the antique might be a good idea.
