  • How did you find leatherworker.net?
    friends, other leatherworkers
  1. what if you used a band saw to rough cut and then a belt sander to get a little bit more precise on your shaping. cant wait to see how you improve!
  2. another variation of this would be with a drill that you could chock these in, i have a 1/4 " nut and bolt in my edge slicker from tandy, i throw that in my drill and get very good results.
  3. I believe there is a product out there called (and it has been a few months from the time i saw the add) "Wyo-Lac" the add was shown to me by Alix Maddson. it clamed to be the same recipe as neat-lac, but i have not tried it, nor do i know the cost, but it might be worth looking into if the clear-lac is not getting you the results that you are looking for. good luck!
  4. i have often asked some friends that are tattoo artist and none have been willing to try it tho i think it would be nice if you could get away from the splatter that the gun would produce. i think sealing it well first to allow for wipe off, would be sufficient if using a more supple veg tan, but hey i have no clue but would love to hear some results if anyone comes acrossed anyone that has tried.
  5. thanks guys! I cant wait to get the store how i would like it, I already made new class tables to mimic the detroit ones and the people here love them. I will get Keith some photo's so he can show everyone what im up too. have fun guys, take care.
