  1. No video but are you talking about the PDF's? Kevin http://www.artisansew.com/manuals.html
  2. Very nice work I come from an automotive upholstery background and I use a toro 3000 with 415 thread for my top stitching in the middle of my seats shown. Did you use a machine or hand stitch it Kevin
  3. This might save you some time, Artisan sells them. Kevin
  4. I have a Toro 3k machine and I have no real complaints. It sews really well but I will tell you their upper tension nut is absolute crap and must of made of been made out of recycled beer cans. Mine is stripped and I am having to make my own with a piece steel rod and a tap and dye set. Kevin
  5. Ed, I talked to Jerry about that machine and he said it is good for webbing etc. For more intricate work try one of the Artisan 797 size 138 or 618 that goes to size 207. Kevin
  6. Sorry about that I did not know what the forum rules were as far as advertising sites. Anyway as you know AH rice was a major player and then closed its doors. Well Dick who used to run it for many many years reopened his own gig now called AH Brands. Dick will send you any samples you want and will get my business from now on. They are very busy getting the business up and running, leave a message and he will call you back. Kevin http://www.ahbrands.com/UMSS.cfm?page=page...plate_code=Home
  7. I am new to using the thicker threads so I have been trying to deal with the thread exchange with samples and such. I have bought some from them but evidently not enough as he will not send me any more samples in an envelope, I guess it is not worth his time. Bad business in my book, since I could do a great deal of business with him. I have since found another supplier and the guy is great to work with. If you do not dealing with the thread exchange shoot me a PM and I will send you the other companies contact info. The Artisan.........
  8. Cool tat ring, what happens if you seperate............... Very cool project, did you hand sew the stitching? Kevin
  9. Come to think of it, if I am not mistaken I think Gutterman makes one. I think their tex size is 350 though. Kevin
  10. I have a Artisan 797 AB and a Toro 3000, both great machines. Steve is very helpful. Kevin
  11. What color are you looking for? Most of the 346 or higher is bonded. Kevin
  12. Good point for my type of application the bottom stitch is not seen. I told Jerry to set it up for 415 for me but I do not really think he understook my use for it. I had to try it many different ways before it would even stitch on the thinner leather. Kevin
  13. Hi I am new here and bought the toro 3000 for top stitching on my auto upholstery surface seating. I use 415 thread on top and 138 on the bottom. One thing that helped me is that insead of wraping twice around as directed I wraped it once and it turned out really well. Kevin Here is some of my work
