Latest seat for the Greasebag Jamboree

Recommended Posts

I just finished this for Grail at Knucklebuster.com. They have a bike show each year for the guys who build their own.

This will be a door prize for one of the bikers who attend. This is my second year supporting them with a seat to give away.

nice work, really nice work. One question how do you do the lettering? Embossed or tooled?

Fantastic work as always. I was curious about how you tool the lettering also. You said this was a door prize (great door prize), are the bolt patterns on the seat pan universal, or does the builder have to weld brackets to match the bolts?

Thanks for the response guys, the lettering is all cut by hand and beveled with Barry King bevelers.

the pan has spring posts 7 " apart..... if it isn't a standard, it is pretty darn close to being universal spacing.....at least in my experience... some of Fab Kevins are a bit wider... but this is probably one of the most popular pans for a built-it-myself bike.

Thanks for taking a look

Dave

Love the color, and your lacing always looks so great.

Thanks all for the kind words....

It looks like this isn't one of my more popular seats with so few responses....

This will go in the mail to Mass. on Monday.

Awesome seat! Can I ask what pan's you use for most of your seats?

They are West Eagle pans

Came out nice David.

I met Grail at the smokeout a few years ago.

The seat came out great, David. I can't wait to win it. (or at least check it out in person.) The guy that won your seat last year was stoked.

David,

I saw Grail this weekend at a swap meet. He was pretty excited about the seat. Pictures of it are up on Greasebag.com. This is a cool event, that's getting bigger every year. Guys like you are helping to keep this thing going and keep it free for everyone, so thanks for that.
