Used a rough edge piece of scrap leather to make this. Nothing fancy just a quick simple project.

Nice Little Project!

I especially like the basket weave. May I ask which tool(s) you used?

Nice and simple, I like it. Did you have to form it around the cards prior to sewing or does it just naturally expand to allow for them? Hope that question makes sense....

I wetted the inside of it. To my surprise it is water tight. I used a metal block to 'push' out the corners. I have various sized blocks for doing different tasks. They come in quite handy.

Very nice! Yeah, the formed leather look gave it a serious boost in interest and coolness. Nice touch!

real cool. not to be pester you, but one more question: before you used the block to form the case, was it flat or did you add extra material to allow for the formed part?

thanks

It was flat before using the block. No extra needed.

Quillleather,

Thanks for the post ! I have made a whole new box of scrap, trying to figure out how to make a small card holder from scrap pieces. Your post is PERFECT just what I was trying to figure out !

Dave
