bdpeters Report post Posted September 11, 2012 Hi all. just wanted to pop in and say hi and introduce myself. My name Is Brian and I started out in leather craft when I was in elementary school. My Father was very much into the craft and always encouraged me and helped with projects. I was into it until other interests took over in my early teens. My father was very active and was aslo a long time member of the Utah Leather pounders. I am not sure why he got out of it or even when exactly he did. well fast forward 30 years and I find myself drawn in again. I am starting out new again and am trying to build up my inventory of equipment and tools on a limited budget. It seems that my father got rid of most of his tools many years ago. he passed away in 2008. anyway I am glad to be back and I look forward to learning and re learning the craft. bdpeters Report post Posted September 11, 2012 Thanks for the welcome. im in Riverton Utah, right in the Salt Lake Valley. I have not really found any clubs nearby yet.
